One portrait, two ways to make it
Cross-stitch
Make the portrait one counted stitch at a time on 14-count Aida. The files give a symbol chart with bold 10-stitch lines, a color key with skeins per color and the fabric size to cut.
Needlepoint
Work the portrait in tent stitch on 13-mesh canvas. The files give the counted chart, a color key with yarn length per color and the canvas size to cut.
Both charts come from the same engine as the free cross-stitch pattern maker. Embroidery outlines and paint by numbers are not offered.

What kind of photo works best?
One pet, face in view, sharp and in good light. A plain background charts cleanest. You frame the face in the next step, so the photo does not need to be square.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is framed and turned into a chart by code in your own browser. When you build the pattern we save the chart (the grid of colors), the name you typed, the craft and the size, so the pattern page and the files work. The photo itself never reaches our servers.
Can I see the design before I pay?
Yes. The design step shows a finished-look preview and a watermarked template before anything is saved, and the pattern page shows them again with the size, stitch count, colors and materials. You pay only for the files.
What is in the files?
Chart and color key ($11): a PDF with the symbol chart split into letter-size pages and the color key, plus clean chart images. Complete project ($14): the same plus a step-by-step stitching guide and a materials list with shopping links.
Do you send a kit?
No. These are digital files; you buy the fabric, floss or yarn, needle and hoop yourself. The materials list says exactly what and how much.
Has the pattern been stitched as a sample?
No. Every pattern is generated from your own photo and has not been stitched by us. Check the size on your fabric before you cut, and treat the thread amounts as a planning estimate.
Do I need an account?
Not to make the pattern or see the page. You create a free account at checkout so the files stay on your account, and you can download them again any time.
How long do you keep the pattern?
Patterns that are not bought are deleted 30 days after they are made. Bought patterns stay on your account until you delete the account.
